VENUE MANAGER / ASSISTANT MANAGER

Location: Chatswood

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Hands on day to day operation, and directly work with the head chef and the managing director;

  • Great barista experience and knowledge would be a bonus but not essential;

  • Recruit new staff, and provide ongoing training to existing and new staff members;

  • Help the company in achieving desired targets and results;

  • Make & Approve rosters with an eye of payroll budget (Experience in using Deputy will be great);

  • Revenue driven with eyes on labour cost;

  • Stock orders for FOH and organising any repairs if necessary;

  • Be reliable with high level of commitment, and be able to work on all weekends and any other days when you have to step in;

The right candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in management in a venue with at least 50 seats;

  • Can do attitude with a strong commitment to the company;

  • Have full rights in working Australia;

  • A passion for food, coffee & hospitality;

  • Be professional, punctual and well presented;

  • Ability to work in a fast paced atmosphere;

  • Can lead and train any type of staff;
